    Default Best current resources

Hi all. Trying to get a friend into the field if they have what it takes, but my knowledge is several years old. What are going to be the bet options for getting someone spun up on A+ information? Specifically looking for two book options and two video series options.

For the first i'd like a video series that covers everything in a not too technical level, maybe just a high level overview. Then a separate series that gets as deep as needed.

Thinking the same for a book. Alternatively if there is a Darryl Gibson type book that would be good.

    Thanks in advance.

Books - I haven't used but heard many good things on Darril Gibsons book.
Videos - Professor Messer all the way. Excellent detail and demonstrations.

I would also advise looking at the CompTIA A+ objectives so you can see what possible subjects could pop up in the exam.

Professor Messer’s CompTIA 220-901 and 220-902 A+ Training Course | Professor Messer IT Certification Training Courses

Does he have a current A+ book? Amazon has a training kit for 801 and 802.
