Default VUE, Prometric Mix and Match?

    Hi,
Does it matter if the A+ Essentials is taken with Vue and the second exam (220-602) is taken with Prometric?

    Thanks!

    Why would you?

And not likely, but it could cause some reporting errors/delays with your results.
Call them both and CompTIA and confirm

    'i' before 'e' except after 'c'.... weird?

    Thanks for your reply!

I had taken my A+ Essentials (220-601) with Vue and I just purchased another Voucher for Prometric? In other words, I will have to use it for my second exam (220-602).

I will contact Comp TIA, VUE, and Prometric and go from there.

Both Prometric and Vue report back to CompTIA, (or whatever other vendor you're testing with). As long as they both accurately record your CompTIA testing ID, you're fine. You should be able to see both a Prometric ID and a Vue ID on your CompTIA candidate history page.
