Default Exam certification of self study guide.

There is a good chance I'll have to start studying for the CCDA soon, and i wanted to know which one was a better source to prepare for the exam.

You should read both of the books.

And you should start with the Design for Cisco Internetwork Solutions (DESGN) (Authorized CCDA Self-Study Guide) by Diane Teare.

Of the older editions, the Teare book was the better of the two books by far.

Did I mention that you should read both books...

Thanks Mike! The person who ssuggested the route CCDA is going to give me the self studdy guide. In I decide to go that route I will only hhave to buy one book.

I did read the first 150-200pages of the book and i found it a littlee boring with soooo much terminology...but I've heard it gets much better.

The CCDA is straight up boring. The ARCH exam for CCDP is a little more interesting
