    Default Packet Tracer banner motd

Hi there. So, I'm having a problem with an assignment through packet tracer. The assignment says "Banner MOTD for all devices: #Unauthorized Access Is Not Allowed#". But when I enter this through PC0's terminal connected to R1, it still says this is in correct.

    For clarification, i've type:

banner motd #Unauthorized Access Is Not Allowed#
banner motd # Unauthorized Access Is Not Allowed#
banner motd # Unauthorized Access Is Not Allowed #

and every variation after pressing enter

    banner motd #
    Unauthorized Access Is Not Allowed
    #

Are there any other ways to type this so that it might be counted as correct?

I'm not sure what your looking for here. If you log in is the banner correct or not? Seems like your questioning the formatting.

Keep in mind the # should not show up it's just the start of your message.

Remember that the first character after 'banner motd' is your delimiting character. You would need to do something like this to add the # sign to your banner.

^# Unauthorized Access Is Not Allowed #^

The point of the question was to show the #, which I thought was the delimiting character.

Thank you Mitechniq, that was what it was. I viewed the # as the delimiting character, which I guess wasn't what I was supposed to do. Thanks again, I appreciate it.
