Default Current Cisco Press Official Cert Guide?

    Hello,

I just passed my Network+ looking to start gathering study materials for CCENT/CCNA. I've decided to go with the Wendell Odom study materials but the latest ones I found on Amazon were published in 2013. Does anyone know if Cisco plans to update the curriculum/cert guides for ICND1 and ICND2 anytime in the near future? I don't want to start studying with these books if an updated version is coming out soon.

    Thanks

Those books are still good, they also come with CDs. I have them both and they are a good read. I have not heard anything about Cisco updating the 100/200 exams. I may take the exam in March.

You can always check on Amazon to see if new stuff is coming out soon. Usually they'll give you 6-12 months in advance of when a new version is coming out. I just checked and there's nothing, so you should be safe to buy the Odom Library.

Great pick btw. I think Odom does a great job in ICND1/2 teaching the fundamentals.
