Default CCNA Semester 2 final exam - A little advice...

    Mornin girls and boys.

I've got my Semester 2 final 3 weeks tomorrow. I had my semester 2 final practice last night and passed with 74% (which surprised me greatly). I was just wondering if anyone knew of a good revision guide for CCNA Sem 2??? I could just read the whole semester 2 again but I can't see that being very effective.
Or perhaps someone with experience might be have a suggestion as to how I could structure my revision???

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    Kind regards,

    Matt

    Be afraid. Be very afraid.

Were you surprised you scored that low? Or that you scored that high?

Semester 2 was the last of the easy stuff (INTRO stuff) and finally lets you touch a router, play with boot sequence, some IOS commands, and access-lists..... If I remember correctly, semester 2 also almost duplicates the TCP stuff from semester 1 (for people who didn't get it then).

If you're lucky, its just the subnetting that hasn't "clicked in" yet:
    http://www.learntosubnet.com
There is also a site that is nothing but subnet practice -- but I never can remember that url....

The semester 2 courseware also was the most bug-ridden stuff out of the 4 semesters.... so yeah, you may want to look at the Cisco Press books for INTRO and ICND.

The Sybex book is great for subnetting -- but since its more review for the CCNA exam, it may not be as helpful getting you through the academy courses. But it probably wouldn't hurt to page through it and see if anything looks familiar.

Yep! That's it. Followed the link, saw the page -- my heart started racing, my palms started sweating, closed it quickly -- that's the one.

This site is relentless. It never blinks. It never gets tired. It just keeps throwing questions at you. That's why I never remember the url

i did the same practice test today with no study and got 94.1%.....it seemed to be simple and to cover general topics of every module...just read over your notes again, and you should pass...........i was expecting difficult questions about protocols, etc, but there were more to do with static routes, route tables, etc.........

i did the practice final again and for some reason i missed 6 questions (due to a connection problem) and i still got 85%...

    basically, it covers most:

    static routers
acls----quite a bit....as said above know your ins and outs
    acls-----know how wildcards are applied
acls-----know the principals of where which should be applied (standard closest to destination, whilst extended closest to source)

    - a little bit about dynamic routing protocols,,,,mainly knowing which is distance vector and which is link state....

    - register settings......which one is which? .....2100 (rom monitor), 2101 (rom monitor or bypass config file and boot straight to ios in flash), 2102 read config file for boot system commands and then boot from flash!

    - config register....which is the number which determines the boot sequence.....eg 2104...the 4 (last digit)

    -subnetting a bit
