    Default CCNA Data Center

    Hey Guys,

Had a question about the new CCNA Data Center.

I purchased the Todd Lammle CCNA Data Center book and was hoping to use it for both the 640-911 and 640-916. After reading the introduction, I noticed that the book is only meant for the 640-911.

For those that have passed the 640-916, what book did you use?

    I was thinking of using:
    http://www.amazon.ca/NX-OS-Cisco-Nex...ds=cisco+nexus

This might be way too much for the NA level though.

Anyway, just looking for some suggestions on 640-916 material.

    Thanks!

The only textbook that I am aware of geared specifically towards the 640-916 exam is the second volume by Todd Lammle, which is expected to be published in Feb 2014: CCNA Data Center: Introducing Cisco Data Center Technologies Study Guide: Exam 640-916: Todd Lammle, John Swartz: 9781118661093: Amazon.com: Books

I think they were off on their original expected publish date by a few years. Look at the new date....

    Book Description

    Publication Date: June 29, 2020 | ISBN-10: 1118661095 | ISBN-13: 978-1118661093 | Edition: 1

Edit: Barnes and Noble said it was published yesterday, although I still can't order it.

WAY overkill. You'll be buried in details instead of focusing on what you really need to learn for the NA. I would recommend the Lammle book but if you have a CCNA or any networking experience, you could probably just skip it. I would just study the objective by Googling them and use the Lammle Nexus simulator that's free at his site
