    Default 210-260 Hardware Requirements?

I need to recertify my CCNA, and was going to take the Security exam soon. Is there any hardware that I would need to purchase to complete the objectives for the new exam? I don't have a long time before the expiration of my CCNA so I need to get the ball rolling asap. Thanks!

You don't necessarily need hardware. I sure didn't. You have two options:

    1) Build a GNS3 virtual hardware environment [this is how I did it initially]

    2) Use Netlabs virtual environment (more info at https://netdevgroup.com/content). Netlabs are usually associated with academies like Cisco and VMware [I'm going to do this this way so I don't have to build a GNS3 lab]

Of course, nothing beats hardware but then again, I love things virtual.

Thanks jdancer for the information. If I were to use GNS3 for the new CCNA:Security what lab environment in GNS3 would you recommend. or. Do you know of any good guides for getting one set up for the exam?
