I am a little over half way through it. I think it is very useful. I know a couple other people are reading it also.

I just bought the book yesterday and from looking through it, it does look very informative. Doesn't seem to be too difficult to follow either.

So does this mean they are doing away with the CCSP?

No they are not doing away with the CCSP. The CCNA Security will be a prerequisite for CCSP. The same case with the voice and CCVP.

Now doesn't seem to be the greatest time to be starting the CCSP as I have never seen so much red on a Cisco certification page.
