Default Cisco 2811, DSP's and FXO, FXS cards

    Hi all,

I'm trying to setup CUCME on a 2811 router with the following modules:

    4 port FXO card
    4 port FXS card
    1 NM-HDV module with 2-PVDM-12 DSP modules and 1 VWIC2-1MFT-T1 card

When I do a "show voice port summary" none of the FXO or FXS ports show up. I'm assuming this is because I do not have any PVDM2's installed on the routers motherboard.

My question is this: Is there anyway for the FXO/FXS cards to use the PVDM-12 DSP's on the NM-HDV module or can these only be used for the VWIC2-1MFT card? I'm trying to avoid having to purchase PVDM2 modules as they are a little pricey.

Thanks in advance for any help.

I believe that the NM-HDV DSPs are only available to the card in the module.

Good news is the PVDM2 modules are pretty cheap on the bay.
