Question Cisco Firepower / AMP training materials? Anyone know if these are available yet?

I am studying for R/S currently, but am planning to move over to CCNP Security immediately, as a lot of our customers are getting these modules on the ASA - X model firewalls and there is a HIGH demand for people who can setup / troubleshoot it.

I asked a TAC engineer if he could recommend anything and got denied, I asked an inhouse engineer where he learned about it and he advised he spent the whole week of Cisco Live in AMP training, does anyone know where us peons get our grubby mitts on it?

    Thanks for input !

The Cisco Live Firepower and AMP videos are free online: https://www.ciscolive.com/online/con...icDashboard.ww

There's also labminutes.com which has videos from 5.4, 6.0 and 6.1 and Todd Lammle wrote a book called SSFIPS which is based on Firepower 5.4. Those are your best bets right there.

Cisco press has some books that are for their security products that are not cert guides. I recommend those as well.

Wow, awesome stuff, thanks so much for the quick responses! +1 karma for being awesome.

Also Iris, those are some pretty awesome photos with the people you got to meet, and the equipment racks you get to play with!

Some day I hope to get into a geek CCIE picture at Cisco Live

@sucanushie - I wouldn't recommend that book if you're looking for technical training. I felt like that book had more marketing than meat.

Good to know. I ordered it, but my company pays for them, so I figured why not
