    Default Ehwic-4esg

Why do INE and Kevin Wallace use this card in their topologies as opposed to just creating a ton of vlans on one switch?

Think they use this in branch routers to provide PoE to phones hooked straight into voice-enabled routers (without the need for a switch, basically keeping costs down).

What negru_tudor said - It cuts down on the gear at the branch offices. HQ sites need switches for deeper QoS topics.
