Default 70-236 this weekend

I am taking 70-236 this Saturday, I have read the TK and used the VM demo for the practices in the book. The only thing I could not practice is the recovery sections.

Any last advice from the community at large?

I have a good understanding of the shell commands.

Good, because powershell is at least half of the test.

I received a large number of Backup and Recovery questions, but that may have been because I ranked that as my strongest area in the pre-exam survey and they threw me some extra unscored recovery questions to try out. At least make sure you know the setup.com /recoverwhatever family of setup switches as well as the powershell commands for setup and failover of CCR and LCR copies.

I did the same double take, but I believe he's referring to the Training Kit

So, best of luck on your attempt, let us know how it has gone.

Just took this today and got my first fail on my second to last exam (mcse track). Not please, but was always likely to happen at some point.

Powershell is very prominent, backups and recovery.

I was close (673), so hope to get my retake scheduled for next week.

Good luck!

Powershell questions made up a lot of the test. Most of them just being syntax related unfortunately :^/. A lame question to ask if I could just tab through the correct syntax on an actual server.

I passed, it was a squaker 763. I would agree with everyone's comments about the amount of Exchange Management Shell commands that were present. With only 49 questions the percentage was rather large.

Thanks to all
