It's too early for me. I have no idea what I'll have finished by the end of 2012; that will determine my cert plans for 2013.

Well right now I'm working on PMP. Perhaps next year I'll reconsider ITIL and I may possibly look at CISSP. Gotta see how my PMP experience holds up though.

Take CCIE written by the end of 2012. Shoot for 1st and only CCIE V attempt by end of 2013.

The reality is is that VMware, UCS and M$ Lync are popping up everywhere, and I already have 2 CCNP's. The only thing separating me from CCIE V's is the number and I have to decide is that number more important than getting the mentioned skills above as I believe they will help me grow my business much larger than a CCIE.

I thought, Already! Then I read veritas_libertas' post and though, Wait, only 4 months?!?

2012 finished - RHCSA - Possibly get the Sec+ in December depending on work load.

2013 - Finish off my AS, start WGU at the end of the year. SPSE (finally), VCP5, maybe some Netapp, Puppet and other less known training thrown in.

2013 is planned as an (ISC)2year for me, with SSCP scheduled for February and hopefully get CISSP by the end of the year.

If I can pursue an RHCSA somewhere in between then I'll be thrilled.

    Let's see...

3 months of 2011 and 2012 have been good to me... I have accomplished my CCNA, MS 680,640,642. I am looking to site my 643 by the end of the month.

In October I am off on a SCCM 2012 course and hopefully my 647 by the end of the year to complete my MCITP:EA.

As for 2013.. I've started thinking about it. I am defo thinking something around virtualisation and storage. VMWare or Hyper-V I haven't decided yet. I work for an MSP so I guess both would be good.

If anyone has any tips on where to start with storage, it would be highly appreciated

I think finding a job that doesn't make me feel like I'm wasting/have wasted my time studying (or push through that feeling).

Finishing the CCNP Security and knocking out the CCIE R+S written is a good 2013 goal.

knocked out the CCNP in 2012

Been trying to decide which way I go next...may just start studying for the CCIE written to just stay fresh and learn a few new things, not sure if I would take the test in 2013 or not. I wanted to do the CCIP but they retired it and I have not had the time to look into what it requires now as the CCNP SP:....

So I guess my goals for 2013 is learn as much as I can about Security,MPLS and BGP and if I can get a cert out of it,great...and I think it would be cool to pick up linux+ as well

I have a few things left on my plate, lots of tests that I just need to review for and schedule, already done most of the studying for them. I've also got quite a few things on the 2012 list that didn't make the cut for one reason or another, but that's how they getcha. I'm going to try to knock out a few Microsoft exams before the year is over, then we'll see what I want to do in the next 12 months after that. . .

I'll know by January 1st of 2013, for sure.
