    Hello House,
    i Passed CISSP on 25th jan 2018.. studied for 6 months and the experience has been wonderful.

    sunflower summary guide
    cybrary cissp video

    now to LPIC linux.. need to gain some linux foundation

    I am also using Sybex resources, Sunflower plus Cybrary video on a 4 to 6 month study plan.

    just as its stated "When you become certified through (ISC)˛, you earn tested and verifiable proof of proficiency in your field"but the main reason why i studied for CISSP it because of the topics it covered ( 8 domain) and also a broad understanding of the security field, communication skills and awareness of the latest security threats
