    Default Jobsites

With all the good feedback on this site, those in the UK especiallly.
I apply to about two or three jobs a week, never heard anything back from any one of them.
Leaves me with a bitter taste in my mouth now, is it my lack of commercial experience, or does my resume need re-working. With no feedback I don't know.
Due to my lack of exoerience, how am I going to get any if no-one gives me a job?????
My CV has been changed more times than I care to remember.
So as to where the problem lies I have no clue.
Needless to say I've stopped using jobsites altogether, just concentrating on gaining the quals, so I'll be the most under experienced over qualified corpse in the ceme try

Dice.com - Job Search for Technology Professionals seems to be the go-to-place for tech jobs. I have had the most positive responses from just posting my resume.

In the DC area other good sites to mention are Washington DC Area Jobs & Careers: Find Your Perfect Job, Search Now! and on occasion you can find an interesting post up on craigslist: washington, DC classifieds for jobs, apartments, personals, for sale, services, community, and events

In the NY area there seems to be more quality jobs at http://www.careeerbuilder.com and Yahoo! HotJobs - Thousands of jobs. Find the right one. and on occasion RegionalHelpWanted.com Network of Local Job Boards can have some worthy jobs.

Job Search | one search. all jobs. Indeed is a great aggregate engine.

Find Jobs. Build a Better Career. Find Your Calling. | Monster.com quality has seemingly suffered over the years. It's still good pratice to post, but I have had few quality leads from there.

    Default job site

I like to look at Job Search | one search. all jobs. Indeed when I look for jobs as it searches different job sites and for some jobs gives you an ideal salary range for the skills listed. this is of course an estimate but nice regardless.

This is probably a long shot since this is an IT board and not a Developer board, but I'll post it anyways.

We are looking to fill the following positions immediately (as in yesterday):

Sr. Sharepoint Developer with 10 years experience
Sr. Sharepoint and PowerBuilder Developer with 15 years experience

By developer I do mean developer...not administrator or anything else. We have been flooded with resumes and emails by people who don't have the experience for these positions. If you think this is up your alley, please let me know.

I had a great experience with this company. You would have to take a few "tests" for competency, unless something has changed in their process. You can get insurance through them too. I did a contract to hire position. The only problem is, once they place you and you stay with that company, it is hard for you to be placed again on something better.

    Robert Half Technology - Home

I can give some more too, if anyone wants them. NOt sure if they are regional or country wide.... just didn't want to clog the thread and donm't have time to go through all that have already been posted.

    +1 Jobserve in the UK.

I also looked for jobs in the general area and speciality I was interested in and looked for particular agencies that posted jobs often. I then registered with that company and had a fruitfull few years contracting through that agency.

    irritating. . .

some really cool tech job boards are getting plugged up with non-IT jobs. . .

Are some folks just simply too dense to notice a given job board is for information technology jobs???
