    Default Resources to pass exam?

    Hi,

    Ive recently purchased the Linux+ course from a cloud guru as Ive used some of their courses for AWS and like how they are structured.

    The Linux+ videos are just under 7 hours in total. Would watching these, doing the labs and doing practice exams be enough to pass the Linux exams?

    Thanks

    I have read on here that https://linuxacademy.com/ is the bomdiggity - Also this is a great read too - https://www.ibm.com/developerworks/library/l-lpic1-map/

    CLI on different distros is also important.

    Cheers & good luck!
    2018 goals -> PenTest+ Beta (awaiting results), CEH (Oct), Linux+ 103 (Dec)
    2019 goals -> Linux+ 104 (Feb)

    Thanks. Good resources there.
    I'm a little confused. The exams are LX0-103 and LX0-104.
    Do I need to study for LPIC1 also? I thought once I passed 103 and 104 then I get LPIC1

    Thanks!

    When you pass CompTIA's exams: LX0-103 and LX0-104, you earn Linux+ and also can automatically earn LPIC-1 too:

    1. Earn your Linux+
    2. Obtain an LPI ID at https://cs.lpi.org/caf/Xamman/register
    3. Once you have passed both Linux+ exams, log into your CompTIA certification account. Choose Demographics | Settings. On the Settings page check the box to have your information forwarded to LPI, then click Submit.

    Sorry Im just seeing this reply now. Still confused lol!

    lpic1-exam-101 and 102 are these just different names for LX0-103 and LX0-104 or are they exams from different providers? If different providers then which is better?

    So no point trying for Linux+ if I were to get it by doing LX0-103 and LX0-104 anyway. However Im a total beginner to Linux so would it be better doing Linux + or Linux essentials first?

    Thanks!
