Talking Passed my MCSE 2016 Cloud Platform and Infrastructure Advice for all

    I did my 70-740 41 42 at a boot camp.

this is the level of difficultly
    741 (hardest)
    742
    740

    for MCSE I chose 70-744
I think 70-741 (networking) is harder than 70-744.

My advice would be focus your study on 70-741.

70-744 is really straight forward. They just want you to learn the technology and how to implement it. Nothing rocket science. Pick up the book from amazon (auther timothy warner), that book + this website is enough to pass the exam ( https://www.rootusers.com/microsoft-...6-study-guide/ ) . Email me if you have any question

Well done, I passed 70-740 two weeks ago and now Im focusing on 70-741. I have 2 books and CBT Nuggets as study material. I can see its going to be a tough one as its about pure networking and not really about Server 2016 but Server in general so just looking on Technet only will not really help me.

Once 70-741 and 70-742 is done then I will be going for 70-744 as it has some overlap with Configuring Windows Devices 70-697. So hopefully it will be easier for me.

Now you have this, what are you going to do next job/career wise?

In your estimation, would there be a tougher learning curve to jump to 70-744 having only the Server 2012 MCSA? Would not really knowing the 2016 environment make it much harder to grasp?

Jumping back into studies, after polishing off the final tests for Office365 and Windows 10 MCSAs, I was looking for something more challenging and am thinking the 744 based on the value of knowing security like you just mentioned, or the 413, having already done and liked the 2008 and 2012 infrastructure
    Office 365 70-347 / 698 later

    Default Congrats and a Question

    First of all congratulations.
I did my MCSE more than 15 years ago so need to take the exams again. It is lot ore confusing now.
So am I correct in assuming that to become MCSE (from Zero) I need to clear the following exams:
    741
    742
    740

    and 70-744
Of ocurse there are variations of above but clearing the above mentioned exams will get me MCSE?

No, it will not be tough especially with your background as long as you understand the technology and how to implement it.

Can anyone clarify something for me? I have MCSA 2012. Do I really only need two tests for MCSE?

743 - Upgrading Your Skills to MCSA: Windows Server 2016 and one from the list? I would most likely choose 744 - Securing Windows Server 2016.

    Thank you!

Does 70-744 have any labs or just multiple choice questions?
