    Thanks!

I had 47. Look through the pass posts for other estimates.

I took it about 3 months ago and from what I can remember is was something like 40 - 45. Had about 3 or 4 simulations. Good Luck!

That would be an example. Did you take the 70-290?

Title: Implementing, Managing, and Maintaining a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Network Infrastructure
    Exam code: 70-291
    Format: Conventional multiple choice,
    other question types and sims
    Number of questions: 40-65
    Passing Score: 700

Sims just require you to perform some task or tasks at an actual Windows interface. They're usually pretty basic. If you've done all the exercises in the MS Press (or equivalent) book, you'll be fine.

What kind of experience do you have? Have you done any other tests? What is your game plan for the MCSA? Have you signed up for second shot?

Generally your certification track should be 70-270, 70-290, then 70-291, and an elective where the 70-290 teaches you simulations. I know I'm getting off track from your original post but I just want to make sure you have a game plan that will help you.

No any bit of information I count as incredibly useful, I've trolled the forums quite a bit just reading everyones insights, struggles and successes. I am indeed signed up for second shot. I have taken and passed the 270. I was going to take the 290 next and then the 284 after that. I was planning on taking one exam a week. THat way I have adequate time to study each section *adequately*

After the MCSA I was planning on starting my CIWD certification (http://www.ciwcertified.com/certifications/program.asp) (Web stuff) and then once I receive that Snag my MCSE. I feel that those two will compliment each other very nicely. And then after that, I don't have a game plan.

In regards to prep time for the 291, I have studied (read, practiced) for about a week and a half now. I have Visual Cert Exam Manager as my practice testing. And I have a vmware team that has an RRAS server, to DC's and two XP's. And I experiment with that. I score about a 600-650 on that practice exams, and thats because I usually fail to read the whole question. Which DOES NOT happen in the real exam.

ps: sorry about posting the question about how many questions on the 291 I never noticed the fact that it says how many questions are on each exam under each page. Especially for the amount of time I visited the 270 exam page.
