They're all big fish but the 70-417's definitely a big, nasty hammerhead shark lurking around for an opportunity to chew you up and spit you out. It's the contents of 70-410, 70-411, and 70-412, split into three parts you need to score 700 or better on EACH section in order to get a passing mark. That means that basically the penalty for a wrong answer is tripled, since the number of questions doesn't go up from the regular exams.

Study hard, everyone. These are the big leagues.

I have much respect for anyone who can pass 417, based on my encounters with 412 alone. It is the only Microsoft test I have ever failed.
    IT guy since 12/00

    Recent: 3/22/2017 - Passed Microsoft 70-412; 2/11/2017 - Completed VCP6-DCV (passed 2V0-621)
Working on: MCSA 2012 upgrade from 2003 (to heck with 2008!!), more Linux, AWS Solution Architect (Associate)
Thinking about: VCP6-CMA, MCSA 2016, Python, VCAP6-DCD (for completing VCIX)

I am by no means ready. So far I've gone through CBT Nuggest 70-417 training videos and read some of the Sybex 70-410/411/412 study book, but no where near ready. I'm looking for some good lab books that will really cement the learning. Any recommendations?
