    Default 2008 Beta Course - IPv6 OMG!

Started my w2k8 beta training course (updating network infrastructure skills to win 2008 - beta 3) this morning and my initial thoughts were... it's not that different to w2k3! To be fair we've only covered 4 of 12 modules so far. I also have another two w2k8 courses to attend before i even think about the upgrade exam so i could be well off the mark!

One thing which did stand out was ipv6, what's that all about? Having listened to the tutor talk about it for over an hour, read the MS study guides explanation on ipv6 twice, im still struggling with it. Anyone come a cross any good sites/article which explans ipv6 in laymons terms? Or better yet a cbt video or something similar?

I only complete my w2k3 mcse two weeks ago and networking (particularly subnetting) was my biggest draw back when it came to the exams. I understand how and why its required, i just struggle when it comes to planning and implementing it. Now im told MS are pushing ipv6 which is a whole new ball game, so far it seems even more difficult than good old ipv4!

Wikipedia actually has a fairly comprehensive overview of IPv6: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IPv6
