Network+, CCNA, CISS. Next stop - CCIE Written

    Default Exam thoughts...

    Well, first off... I Passed!

I took the English test in Germany. I must say some questions were extremely easy while others seemed to be taken out of the CCIP

Lots of troubleshooting scenarios (networks), different NOS, cable categories, wireless, redundancy, OSI etc, but not one exibit and only single answer multi-choice!

I would recommend a test taker to re-read the questions as I found myself misinterpreting some the first time through. I also found it easier to discount the obvious incorrect answers before choosing the correct choice.

I used CBT Nuggets as my core study and the notes from TechExams. The practice tests from TechExams and MCMCSE were great! Watch out for some of the other free sites as they offer practice tests with many incorrect answers... I put practice questions onto my MP3 player so I could study while taking the bus to and from work, it really helped to solidify everything.

All in all, it was quite difficult.

Thankyou TechExams for your resources, they really are spot on with what is needed to pass!

Well, onto the next cert challenge! (Yet to choose)

    Grats on passing!

I have to say that If I had not read the questions twice I would have missed some of the key words that change the entire meaning of the question...

    Especially the word not
