Default >>> FREE DEMO TESTS for Network+ (my opinion)

Here are the links to the demo tests I used to prepare for Network+.

    1. http://www.transcender.com/demos/#CompTIA

TOUGH questions but way TOO expensive.

    2. http://www.vista-net.com/download.htm (also have "Downloadable Tutorials" for free). I bought this SUPERB kit that has 540 unique questions - It's only $19.99 and if you do well on the tests you're ready to take the real test for sure!

    3. http://www.selftestsoftware.com/demo/#CompTIA

    TOO expensive.

    4. http://www.ucertify.com/exams/CompTIA/N10-003.html (this is a really great Prepkit...I almost bought it...try the free DEMO).

I'm sure someone else has a more complete list so please fill in

    BEST OF LUCK

    This website, MCMCSE, and pagesbydave.

I thought trancender (while expensive) was the most acurate to the test.

Default Transcenders? How close to the test Net +

Hi, How close are the transcenders to the actual test? I already have purchased it and I have heard that, although they are good quality they may not come too close to mimicing the actural test.

    Comments? :P

The scenario questions aren't that close but the Transcender test is very hard. So if you pass Transcender with a very high score you are probably ready for the real test. But to be honest, I wouldn't just go with that - I did a lot of tests in front of the computer to see my weak areas. I also made sure to fully remember and understand the OSI model; protocols for each layer, hardware for each layer (routers, swithces etc)....writing a small list and CRAM it every day = You know it upside down for life
Also, make your list for all IEEE standards and make sure to know that without a doubt - That WILL help you very much when you have a scenario question about installation, problems with cables etc.

Oh, make sure to know ALL ports (the ports on the objectives list) - Had some scenario question on that and it was a bit tricky but I got it because of knowing the ports.

    BEST OF LUCK
