I have transenders and exam cram books for the Network + exam from 2008. Can anyone tell me if there is a big difference between the 2006 exam and 2009? Also what new material would I have to study in addition to the old.

04-15-2010 04:11 PM #2I acutally think there is less to learn in the 2009 version than in the 2006. Now don't take my word for it, but I just feel less overwhelmed when I read my 2009 version book.

04-15-2010 04:36 PM #3The 2009 version has a lot of material that wasn't covered on the 2006 exam. I highly recommend downloading the exam objectives from CompTIA's website:

04-19-2010 04:56 PM #4I'm not sure how helpful this could be but if you have the 2006 Net+ stuff down to a T you could and try to find a bridge exam for 2009. It would cover mainly the differences between the old exam and the new one.
