    Default SCCM 2012 question

    Hi Guys,

Just a quick one.. I wanted to know if anyone has taken the SCCM 2012 exam yet? If so what study material did you use and how did you prep for it?

    Thanks in advance..

I passed on the beta and don't plan on taking the live exam either. If I were, I would use the SCCM 2012 Unleashed book as the main reference. Not just because I know one of the authors, but because I felt the Unleashed book was the best of the 3 SCCM 2007 books I referenced when I took the SCCM 2007 exam.

You can always put together your own study material, like I did for the 2007 exam. Go through the Skills Measured section fo the 243 exam and find Technet articles, blog posts, presentations and virtual labs that cover the topics. Please post the guide here when you are done, everyone else taking the exam will thank you for it.

i passed the SCCM 2012 exam in the beta phase, probably because i failed the 2007 exam twice and passed it on my third attempt and then took the 2012 exam a month later so the 2012 exam was mainly just knowing the differences between the 2007 version of which there are quite a few. I would echo Claymore's recommendation about the unleashed book. If you want to build a lab I would also recommend System Center 2012 Configuration Manager: Mastering the Fundamentals: Kent Agerlund: 9789197939041: Amazon.com: Books which is a useful guide on setting up a lab.

You should also use the Microsoft virtual labs: TechNet Virtual Labs: System Center

And if you look on the Teched site there are a stack of SCCM 2012 videos

    Hope it helps
