    Yes, but in reality they're priced at the cost of the underlying SANS course since unless you're very well-versed in a particular area you need the books to pass the test.

    It's $1249 to challenge an exam and $689 if you get it in conjunction with a SANS course.

    My bad. I was trying to edit the post but I've been having DNS issues at the house so I couldn't edit the post. I had forgot that the price was for the class.
