    Default Csa+?

    Hey, TE Members

I have a SEC+ cert and i'm currently studying for CCNA R/S, but I was curious if I were to take the CSA+ would it renew my SEC+ Certificate?

    Thank You,

But, is the CSA worth it?

Hmmmm, so many certs, so little time.

When I received my CSA+, my Security+, Network+, and A+ certs were renewed for another three years. As for whether it is worth it or not, I would say that it probably won't be seen on a job recce for quite some time. CompTIA is pursuing getting it added to 8140/8570 for DoD requirements. Once it gets added, the certification may take off. We will have to see.
