    Default Network Security

I am interested in learning about Network security when I gradute from College. Right now I'm working on an Associate's Degree as a network engineer. What suggestions can you give me.

Having read the objectives for Security+ I would think that it would be a worthwhile certification and to that regard I have talked the establishment where I am doing my training to bring the course into the country for me.
In the meantime I have read Peter Nortons Network Security Fundamentals and the Sybex Security Complete publications. I have Mike Meyers Security+ Passport book on order and there are many Ebooks available that give basics. The PDF from www.alphageekproductions.com is interesting reading & is free

visit symantec website and see what certification they have. an employer may want an engineer who is certified by a producer of firewall and antivirus software.
