Certifications: MCSE 2003 + Security, ITIL, CompTIA Security+ | SUCCESS!! Passed the SY0-101 today! In case anyone didn't know...this exam expires after April 2009. I took the test today and scored 890 on it! The wording wasn't weird at all on it. I was done in 30 minutes. That stupid survey had me sweatin' though....just give me my results already!! Lots of questions on MAC, DAC, and RBAC. Also, you better know the differences between symmetric and assymetric encryption along with certificates and digital signatures. If you have a firm understanding then you should be fine. I used the Sybex Security + Certification Kit for all of my studying along with Transcenders. I hit the practice tests and exams from the cd's in the Sybex kit really hard and mixed it up with the Transcenders and bam...certified! woo hoo!!
I just want to say thanks to everyone that posts on this forum. Everyone's input really helped. The port number quiz was a huge help also along with the quizes. Everything was a big help so thank you everyone who posts and puts this whole thing together!
Now its on to CCNA and Unix/Linux! |
