Default Win 2003 Server eval copy

I read in the forums that MS allows you to download the 180-day evaluation copy form their site.

Does anyone have a link for that? I'm getting lost on the MS site (as usual).

Also, this may seem like a dumb question, but what is VMware, and is it expensive?

    Thanks

Just google "server 2003 evaluation" It's much easier than trying to navigate MS's site: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/w.../bb430831.aspx

This will give you a good overview of VMWare: http://www.itidiots.com/content/view/65/67/

VMWare Workstation 6 (which is what I use and recommend) is $189, but VMWare Server and Virtual PC 2007 are free and will get you by if you don't have the money. Just download them all and play around with them. Workstation has a trial.
