Good luck! 4th attempt huh? That's commitment and well done for laying off d**ps which would have got you through without spending time to read the question properly on exam day.

It's been hard for you but think what you have learned! Someone will reward you for that hardwork.

I only started practicing and studying Server 2003 last December 2007 and have already taken the exam 3 times without any real hands on experience.

I have never had a IT job and have manged to build my resume and cover letter's and got to interviews with only one certification in my belt so I have been very committed.

I find it difficult to learn everything sitting behind my laptop all by myself with out other students or a teacher...but what can you do?

Anyway, Thank you for appreciating my commitment...

Good luck to you in your career!

Its like your palms are sweating .

Never mind there is always a reason for being nervous. Perhaps just being exited or afraid to blow it again.

If you've worked hard, best wishes and be calm! You don't need luck!

I started studying for 70-290 last november 2007. Only had one MS Press book, Measureup & Transcender...This includes no hands on experience...I was using MS Virtual PC's.

As I started using this forum, I learnt that there are so many topics that the MS Press book does not cover! This is why I failed the 1st & 2nd time. The 3rd attempt was like my first to me because I went in there knowing what to expect & had covered all the topics. I managed to score 658...

Fourth attempt I knocked it out...914

70-291, I know how to study for that and will be covering more than what that MS press book tells me...

Thank you IT Pro's for all your comments and feedback!

Good Luck to you all with your certs and work!

MS Press and MS learning materials is a common complaint in terms of falling short of the exam requirement. Of course one cannot assess how the users of these materials use them or what they expect of them.

But honestly, if MS are producing study materials which people pay for, and they then take all the necessary time to work through those materials only to find they are far away from the exam standard..

Then MS need to sack some writers.

If you paid the money to buy a Novell Self Study kit in the past you passed the exam. It's that simple.

Congrats on the pass, and a nice score at that. Enjoy your celebratory action, and good luck on the road to The Beast. (You'll have to break out something stronger when you slay that monster, maybe some Absinthe.)

Absinthe is weak! My Grandad make's home made booze from all sorts of ****...He gets most of his ingredients from India!

Now that alcohol is strong - about 100% - 1 Double shot with water and your knocked!

Anyway only drink that after 70-291.
