    Default Taking 463 tomorrow

I am taking the Data Warehouse exam tomorrow morning. I used the 5 day MS class from TSS Redmond to study for this exam. I sat through the class over a year ago when doing a project for work but did not have time to take the exam, but kept a copy of the virtual machines and the 700 page book and went through each module again over the last few weeks. I am hopeful that I can get past this on the first try, if not I will take it again in a week or so. I will report after and let everyone know how I do.

Well round 2 will be next week sometime. The 5 day class does not go into much detail on what was tested on. The 2 sections I need to review are the last two Configure and Deploy SSIS Solutions and Build Data Quality Solutions. The rest I did fairly well on.

Absolutely this is cutting edge on this forum!

I'm still grinding through the XML nonsense LOL.

The funny thing about SQL is if I "use" it I can learn it no problem but reading a book and learning concepts is brutal. I use Windowing, CTE's and other aggregate type functions, but I never use XML to load tables or create extracts. I just don't have the need our Architects do all that.

@N2IT - so true !! It's so much easier to retain what one actually does as part of their day to day work, there are some topic (XML for example) that are such a pain to study because I never have to parse XML as part of my work
